The Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan (AKHS, P), a prominent not-for-profit healthcare organization under the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), is seeking an experienced Audiologist to join its team in Gilgit, Pakistan. The Audiologist will report directly to the Consultant ENT and will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive hearing care services. This position involves conducting thorough hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing and balance disorders, fitting hearing aids and assistive devices, and providing counseling and rehabilitation support to patients and their families. The role also requires maintaining precise medical records, ensuring adherence to infection control protocols, and actively participating in community outreach and hearing screening initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with ENT specialists, physicians, and rehabilitation teams to uphold AKHS’s commitment to patient-centered, high-quality healthcare in accordance with institutional policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments including audiometry, tympanometry, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Diagnose hearing loss and balance-related disorders accurately.
- Recommend, fit, and adjust hearing aids and assistive listening devices tailored to patient needs.
- Provide counseling and rehabilitation services to patients and their families to support hearing health and adaptation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and generate detailed reports.
- Ensure strict compliance with infection control measures and proper maintenance of audiological equipment.
- Participate actively in community awareness programs and hearing screening camps to promote hearing health.
- Collaborate effectively with ENT specialists, physicians, and rehabilitation teams to deliver integrated care.
- Adhere to AKHS policies, medical protocols, and ethical standards at all times.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the audiology department.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology (BSA, MSc, MS, or AuD).
- Minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in audiology.
- Excellent communication and counseling abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Patient-centered approach with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficient in documentation and reporting.
- Basic computer literacy.
