Audit Officer (Continuous Audit)

We are seeking a skilled Data Analytics professional with a strong background in banking to join our Internal Audit & BRR Department at the Head Office. The ideal candidate will leverage advanced data analytics techniques to support audit processes, enhance risk identification, and improve control effectiveness. This role requires a proactive individual capable of developing audit tests, continuous monitoring routines, and management dashboards to provide actionable insights that drive informed decision-making within the audit function.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct data-driven, population-based audit testing to evaluate control effectiveness and identify exceptions, anomalies, control breaches, and emerging risks.
- Develop audit tests and risk indicators aimed at strengthening audit coverage and uncovering potential control weaknesses.
- Establish continuous monitoring routines to enhance audit efficiency and ensure timely assurance delivery.
- Create management dashboards that present actionable insights to support effective audit decision-making.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Business Data Analytics from an HEC-recognized institute or university.
- At least 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in Advanced Data Analytics within the banking sector.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python programming for data manipulation and analysis.
- Expertise in advanced data analytics and big data analysis techniques.
- Experience with Power BI, IBM Cognos, or similar tools for dashboard development and data visualization.
- Knowledge of banking data analysis, audit analytics, and continuous monitoring processes.

Preferred Qualifications and Additional Benefits
- A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Qualification or certification in Islamic Finance will be considered an added advantage, enhancing the candidate’s ability to work within specialized financial contexts.
