Salman & Raheel Chartered Accountants, a well-established firm based in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking experienced Audit Supervisors to join their team on a full-time basis. The firm specializes in providing audit, tax, advisory, and outsourcing services to both local and international clients. This role offers the opportunity to lead audit engagements primarily within the financial services sector, including insurance companies, mutual funds, investment firms, and bank branches. The successful candidates will manage audit projects independently from planning through to finalization, ensuring high-quality delivery and compliance with relevant standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead audit engagements in the financial sector end-to-end, including planning, fieldwork, and finalization.
- Serve as job in-charge or audit supervisor, managing and guiding audit teams on assigned projects.
- Apply IFRS standards such as IFRS 17 (Insurance Contracts), IFRS 9 (Financial Instruments), IFRS 15 (Revenue from Contracts), and IFRS 16 (Leases) in practical audit scenarios.
- Prepare financial statements starting from trial balances and work on group accounts consolidation.
- Maintain thorough and well-organized audit documentation using audit software.
- Identify, discuss, and resolve audit issues in collaboration with client management.
- Ensure timely completion of engagements while adhering to professional and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
- Qualified or finalist status in ACCA, CA, or CPA.
- Minimum of six years of audit experience.
- Completion of articleship at a Big 6 audit firm.
- Current experience as an audit supervisor or in a more senior audit role.
- Proven track record as job in-charge or audit supervisor on financial-sector clients, particularly insurance and mutual funds.
- Practical knowledge of IFRS 17, IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and group accounts.
- Experience preparing financial statements from trial balances.
- Hands-on experience with audit software and comprehensive audit documentation.
- Ability to independently complete audits from fieldwork through to finalization.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Audit experience in the GCC region is considered a strong advantage.
- Sector experience in insurance, mutual funds, investment companies, and bank branches is highly desirable.
- The position is based in Karachi and requires in-person attendance.
- Starting salary is from PKR 80,000 per month.
