The Audit Supervisor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Karachi. This role involves leading audit engagements from initial planning through to completion, ensuring all audit activities adhere to firm methodologies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements. The Audit Supervisor will oversee audit teams by allocating tasks, reviewing working papers, and coordinating with clients to understand their business processes and risk environment. A key part of the role is performing detailed financial analyses, identifying control weaknesses, and recommending improvements. The Audit Supervisor is also responsible for preparing and reviewing audit reports, management letters, and other deliverables, ensuring they are accurate, clear, and submitted on time. Additionally, the role includes coaching and mentoring junior team members, supporting their technical growth, and contributing to the continuous enhancement of audit quality and internal processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring compliance with firm policies, professional standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Plan audit procedures, allocate tasks to team members, and review working papers for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with clients to gain a thorough understanding of their business operations, financial reporting, and internal controls.
- Perform detailed analysis of financial data to identify risks, control weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare, review, and finalize audit reports, management letters, and other client deliverables.
- Mentor and coach junior audit staff, fostering their professional development and technical skills.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance audit quality and internal workflows.

Required Qualifications
- Strong technical knowledge and practical experience in accounting and finance, including relevant reporting and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements in compliance with applicable frameworks and regulations.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing audit reports and related documentation for diverse client engagements.
- Advanced analytical skills to evaluate financial data, assess internal controls, identify risks, and provide data-driven recommendations.
- Professional qualification such as CA, ACCA, or equivalent; part-qualified or finalist candidates with relevant experience may also be considered.
- Previous experience in external audit at a reputable firm, preferably in a supervisory or senior role managing audit teams and engagements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.
- High level of integrity and professionalism.
