Audit Supervisor

Hiring on behalf of a leading IT solutions provider based in Lahore, we are seeking a Senior Auditor / Audit Supervisor to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing audit engagements, supervising audit staff, and ensuring all audits comply with established standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a strong auditing background, preferably with experience at a Big 4 accounting firm, along with excellent leadership skills to manage teams and client relationships effectively. The Audit Supervisor will also provide valuable recommendations to improve internal controls and enhance financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multiple audit engagements from planning through completion, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and quality standards.
- Review audit team work for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with auditing standards and internal policies.
- Identify financial and operational risks and advise on appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients during audit processes, addressing their concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to strengthen organizational financial controls.
- Mentor and train junior auditors to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that clearly communicate findings, risks, and recommendations to senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA are highly preferred.
- 5 to 6 years of auditing experience, with significant exposure to Big 4 accounting firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).
- Strong understanding of auditing standards, accounting principles (IFRS, GAAP), and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex audit findings clearly.
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing audit teams and projects, along with staff development experience.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, with a strong commitment to confidentiality and integrity.
