Audit Supervisor

Hiring on behalf of a reputable IT solutions provider based in Lahore, we are seeking an experienced Audit Supervisor to join their team. The Audit Supervisor will be responsible for managing audit engagements from planning through completion, supervising audit staff, and ensuring all audits comply with established standards and regulatory requirements. This role requires a candidate with a solid auditing background, strong leadership skills, and the ability to maintain excellent client relationships while providing valuable recommendations to enhance internal controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and manage multiple audit engagements, ensuring adherence to audit methodologies and quality standards throughout the process.
- Review audit team outputs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with auditing standards and internal policies.
- Identify financial and operational risks, offering guidance on effective risk mitigation strategies.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients during audits, addressing concerns and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and recommend improvements to enhance financial integrity.
- Mentor and train junior auditors, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
- Prepare detailed audit reports that clearly communicate findings, risks, and actionable recommendations to senior management.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Professional certifications such as CA, ACCA, or CPA are highly desirable.
- 5-6 years of relevant auditing experience.
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles (including IFRS and GAAP), and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent analytical and critical-thinking abilities with strong attention to detail.
- Superior verbal and written communication skills, capable of clearly explaining complex audit findings.
- Demonstrated ability to lead audit teams, manage projects efficiently, and develop junior staff.
- High ethical standards and professionalism, committed to confidentiality and integrity in all work aspects.
