Hasnain Tanweer Associates Private Limited (HTA Group) is a well-established workforce solutions and business consultancy provider operating in Pakistan and internationally since 1999. The Auditor position at HTA Group is a full-time, on-site role based in Karachi. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular financial and operational audits, reviewing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can examine accounting records and documentation, identify control gaps or inefficiencies, and prepare comprehensive audit reports with actionable recommendations. The Auditor will work closely with finance, HR, operations, and IT teams to understand processes, assess risks, and support ongoing improvement initiatives. Maintaining high ethical standards, safeguarding confidential information, and contributing to the organization’s governance and risk management framework are essential components of this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial and operational audits to evaluate internal controls and compliance.
- Review accounting records and documentation to identify discrepancies or control weaknesses.
- Prepare clear, concise audit reports detailing findings and recommendations for improvement.
- Follow up on agreed action plans to ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, HR, operations, and IT to understand business processes and assess risks.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process inefficiencies and recommending best practices.
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain high ethical standards in all audit activities.
- Contribute to strengthening governance, risk management, and internal control frameworks across the organization.

Required Qualifications
- Strong skills in auditing, accounting, and financial analysis, with the ability to interpret data and detect irregularities.
- Proficiency in internal controls, risk assessment, and compliance review, including knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Excellent report writing, documentation, and presentation skills, with clear and effective verbal and written communication.
- Competence in using MS Excel and other productivity tools; familiarity with accounting software, ERP systems, and AI agents is expected.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Demonstrated attention to detail, analytical thinking, integrity, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within teams.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in audit, internal control, or finance roles, preferably within consulting, outsourcing, or multi-client environments.
