We are looking to hire a talented Ruby on Rails Developer to manage the interchange of data between our users and the server. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic for the central database, testing performance, troubleshooting, and integrating front-end elements into the application.
Job Responsibilities
- Design, code, test, and document rails applications as per software specifications and guidelines.
- Work on every level of the stack - front-end to back-end, and everything in between.
- Extend existing applications through enhancements and integrations with third-party platforms.
- Assist in estimating the time required to complete projects.
- Advance knowledge with regards to programming languages and tools, in order to successfully perform job functions.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix tools and utilities.
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as statistical inference.
- Ability to apply concepts such as percentages, ratios, and proportions in practical solutions.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Familiar with Agile development methods
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in building web applications using Ruby On Rails.
- Passion for writing great, simple, clean, efficient code.
- Familiarity with concepts of MVC, ORM, and RESTful.
- Good knowledge of data structures and OOP concepts.
- Good knowledge of relational database (MySql),
- Good understanding of AWS, DB, RDS
- Experience in using Git.
- Prior e-commerce experience is a plus.
- Experience in front end frameworks Angular JS
