Key Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and Directing Visitors: Welcoming guests, determining their needs, and directing them to the appropriate person or office. 
  • Answering and Routing Calls: Handling incoming calls, taking messages, and transferring calls to the correct extensions. 
  • Managing Correspondence: Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages, and potentially handling outgoing mail. 
  • Maintaining the Reception Area: Keeping the reception area clean, organized, and presentable. 
  • Providing Information: Answering general inquiries, providing directions, and offering assistance to visitors. 
  • Administrative Support: May include data entry, filing, photocopying, and other clerical tasks. 
  • Maintaining Records: May include keeping records of visitors, deliveries, or other relevant information. 
  • Handling Customer Inquiries (if applicable): For offices with a customer-facing role, may handle customer complaints and basic inquiries.
