We are seeking a skilled Draftsman with strong expertise in AutoCAD to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of drafting techniques and concepts, with the ability to read and create detailed plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment. Experience in the surgical industry and knowledge of surgical products are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize AutoCAD to create accurate 2D and 3D drawings according to specifications.
- Draft and prepare layout drawings for various structures and components.
- Interpret and produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, and other technical documents.
- Coordinate closely with the production team to ensure drawings meet project requirements.
- Apply strong analytical and observational skills to maintain high-quality drafting standards.
- Maintain expertise in AutoCAD software and stay updated with drafting best practices.
Required Qualifications:
- Certification in AutoCAD is mandatory.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating both 2D and 3D drawings.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Strong communication skills to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience in drafting techniques and concepts with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working with AutoCAD.
- Prior experience in the surgical industry, with knowledge of surgical products, is highly advantageous.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time, contract position requiring in-person attendance at the work location. Candidates with a background in surgical product drafting and production coordination will find this role particularly well-suited to their skills.
