AUTO PARTS STORE SALES OFFICER

Gari Parts Retail Outlet, situated in DHA Phase 2 Extension, Karachi, is looking for a motivated Counter Sales Officer / Auto Parts Salesman to join its retail team. The ideal candidate should possess a basic understanding of car parts, spare parts, and lubricants, along with strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset. While deep expertise in auto parts is not mandatory, the ability to comprehend customer needs, accurately identify the required parts, and assist customers efficiently is essential. Candidates who demonstrate a willingness to learn and grow within the role will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers at the sales counter to understand their requirements
- Ask relevant questions about car model, year, engine type, or specific part details to identify the correct products
- Provide accurate information regarding products and pricing to customers
- Prepare quotations, sales orders, and invoices as necessary
- Coordinate with the store team to verify product availability
- Assist customers in selecting appropriate parts and lubricants based on their needs
- Maintain positive customer relationships to encourage repeat business
- Support daily shop operations and contribute to overall sales activities

Required Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of car parts and spare parts
- Familiarity with lubricants is advantageous
- Ability to identify and locate common car parts
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills to manage sales documentation
- Prior experience in sales or counter sales is preferred
- Experience in auto parts shops, workshops, lubricant shops, or car dealerships will be considered a plus
- Fresh candidates with foundational knowledge of auto parts are encouraged to apply
