AutoCAD Drafter

A & K Builders, a growing construction company based in Islamabad, is seeking an experienced AutoCAD Drafter to join its design and technical team at the Head Office located in F-10 Markaz. This full-time position involves preparing, reviewing, and revising precise technical drawings for various building and construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, architects, and site teams to ensure all drawings meet project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare architectural, structural, and construction drawings using AutoCAD.
- Convert rough sketches and engineers’ instructions into detailed, accurate drawings.
- Make revisions and updates to drawings as per project needs.
- Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with engineers and site staff to clarify drawing details.
- Maintain organized files and records of all drawings.

Required Qualifications
- Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Civil, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience as an AutoCAD Drafter.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, with emphasis on 2D drafting; knowledge of 3D drafting is an advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with additional drafting software such as Revit or SketchUp is desirable but not mandatory.
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry will be considered a plus.
