AutoCAD & Revit Fire Safety Drawings Engineer Saudi Building - Karachi

We are currently looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD & Revit Fire Safety Drawings Engineer to join our Karachi-based team. This role involves working remotely as part of our engineering backbone, focusing on technical documentation and 3D coordination for large-scale commercial and industrial MEP projects in KSA. The position starts as contract and project-based, with the potential for promotion to a permanent, full-time role for candidates who consistently meet our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced 3D models of complex fire protection systems using Autodesk Revit and Navisworks.
- Produce standard-compliant 2D AutoCAD shop drawings, builder’s work details, pump room schematics, and isometric riser diagrams.
- Ensure precise spatial coordination among HVAC, plumbing, and structural components to prevent on-site clashes.
- Align all design schematics with the Saudi Building Code (SBC 801 Fire Code) and relevant NFPA standards, including NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 2001.
- Draft and coordinate specialized fire safety systems such as Wet/Dry Sprinkler Systems, Pre-Action & Deluge Systems, Standpipe networks, and Clean Agent Suppression (FM-200/NOVEC).
- Generate accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) to verify constructability before installation.
- Review and audit existing MEP fire designs to identify value engineering opportunities, optimizing pipe sizing and minimizing material waste without compromising code compliance.

Required Qualifications
- Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with the Saudi Building Code (SBC 801 Fire Code).
- Familiarity with NFPA standards, specifically NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 2001.
- Ability to interpret and validate hydraulic calculations related to system pressure, friction loss, and network efficiency.
- Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to create clear, precise layouts for on-site installation teams in KSA.
- A portfolio showcasing previous MEP fire safety projects, preferably within the Middle Eastern market.
