Key Responsibilities

- Understand software requirements and contribute to the design of automation products or processes aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness.
- Analyze existing technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks to inform project planning.
- Collaborate with project management to develop and submit detailed project plans, outlining necessary steps for successful delivery.
- Engage with users, partners, and clients to comprehend current operating procedures and regularly review project objectives.
- Contribute to the automation roadmap by researching new architectures and developing innovative automation solutions.
- Maintain and improve the automation framework for cross-technology stack use, including building reusable libraries across business verticals.
- Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scenarios to validate automation processes for both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Develop technical specifications and resolve complex design issues related to automation testing.
- Implement and track key metrics to ensure comprehensive coverage of requirements through automation.
- Own the testing and validation of code to eliminate errors, track issues, resolutions, and bug fixes, and maintain a defect database.
- Design and implement automated testing tools, updating them as needed to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Develop software programs that adhere to Wipro standards by leveraging best practices, documentation, and accepted design patterns.
- Collaborate with Agile delivery teams to understand product vision and backlogs, developing scalable and high-quality test automation scripts.
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for user stories and manage the test automation backlog.
- Work with development teams to improve continuous deployment practices by formalizing processes and providing necessary tools.
- Partner with business subject matter experts to understand automation requirements and deploy applications using automation tools.
- Ensure long-term maintainability through thorough documentation aligned with Wipro guidelines.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication among testers, users, developers, and clients to expedite problem resolution and document successes.
- Provide support to testers and support personnel in diagnosing system issues.
- Perform backend and database programming as required for key projects.
- Stay current with industry standards and integrate them appropriately into automation practices.

Required Qualifications

- 3-5 years of experience in Full Stack Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) roles.
- Strong expertise in designing, programming, simulating, and testing automation products or processes.
- Proven ability to develop and maintain automation frameworks and reusable libraries.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and continuous deployment practices.
- Proficiency in backend/database programming.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and initiative in research and resolution of technical challenges.
- Strong communication skills to ensure effective collaboration with internal teams and clients.
