AV - Content Creator

Midas Online is seeking a creative and motivated AV Content Creator to join their team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who are passionate about visual storytelling and social media content creation. The successful candidate will be involved in the entire video production process, from concept development and scripting to shooting and editing. With a salary range of PKR 60,000 to 80,000 per month, compensation will be based on skills and portfolio. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in content planning, production, and post-production within a dynamic agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Production:
- Understand briefs, target audiences, platforms, and desired outcomes before developing creative ideas.
- Research current content formats, trends, and visual references to inform concepts.
- Develop concepts for reels, video ads, brand stories, explainers, and promotional content.
- Write hooks, short scripts, on-screen text, and voiceover copy.
- Prepare storyboards, shot lists, and basic production plans.
- Coordinate necessary footage, assets, props, and other production requirements.

Production:
- Set up basic camera or smartphone shoots, focusing on framing, lighting, and audio quality.
- Capture supporting footage, behind-the-scenes content, and simple product or office shots.
- Review recordings for composition, clarity, and sound quality.
- Organize and back up all recorded material for editing.

Post-Production:
- Edit footage into engaging videos with strong openings and purposeful pacing.
- Add captions, titles, transitions, music, sound effects, and basic motion graphics.
- Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup, and sound balancing.
- Adapt videos for various aspect ratios, platforms, and ad placements.
- Incorporate feedback while maintaining brand consistency and approved concepts.
- Review final exports for spelling, audio levels, visual consistency, and technical quality.

AI Tools and Collaboration:
- Utilize AI tools to support ideation, storyboarding, voiceovers, and editing where appropriate.
- Review AI-generated content for accuracy, quality, and brand alignment.
- Collaborate with social media and design teams to ensure content meets campaign objectives.
- Maintain organized project files, footage, assets, and version control.
- Manage deadlines effectively and communicate progress or production needs proactively.

Required Qualifications
- A relevant portfolio demonstrating storytelling and editing skills.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Solid understanding of composition, pacing, sound, and social media video formats.
- Basic scripting skills with the ability to translate briefs into clear content ideas.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to diverse client brand guidelines.
- Clear communication skills, openness to feedback, and eagerness to learn.
- A degree or qualification in Media Studies, Film, Multimedia, Communication, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Familiarity with After Effects or basic motion graphics.
- Experience shooting with smartphones or cameras.
- Exposure to AI-assisted creative tools.
- Experience creating content for brands, campaigns, or personal channels.
