Aveva PI Software Engineer

Müller's Solutions is seeking a skilled Aveva PI Software Engineer to join our technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Aveva PI systems that support the organization’s operational and business goals. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable data management and enable real-time analytics using the Aveva PI platform.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, configure, and maintain Aveva PI System infrastructure, including PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework, and PI Interfaces.
- Implement and support data collection from diverse sources to ensure accurate and timely data capture.
- Work collaboratively with engineering, operations, and IT teams to integrate Aveva PI solutions with existing systems.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability.
- Design and develop analytical dashboards and reports to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Provide user training and technical support for Aveva PI applications.
- Stay updated on the latest Aveva PI technology developments and recommend system improvements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with Aveva PI System components such as PI Data Archive, Asset Framework, and Interfaces.
- Strong understanding of data collection, storage, and real-time data analytics.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or PowerShell for automation and integration tasks.
- Familiarity with databases and SQL for data querying and management.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and end-users.
