This includes infrastructure, data, AI/ML, and platform domains. The role ensures that the technology landscape is modern, scalable, secure, and cloud-ready, enabling data-driven decision-making, intelligent automation, and digital transformation initiatives. The Enterprise Architect collaborates closely with technology teams such as data and AI, infrastructure, application development, security, integration, and business domain architects to create an integrated technology ecosystem that drives value and supports strategic business priorities.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and maintain the enterprise target architecture across infrastructure, platform, integration, data, and AI, including establishing principles, standards, patterns, and reference architectures.
- Establish architecture guardrails that encourage standardization, data quality, AI readiness, platform automation, integration, and security by design.
- Provide enterprise-level architectural direction for platforms and advanced capabilities by defining principles, standards, and target-state guidance to ensure consistency and reuse across infrastructure, cloud, integration, and platform services.
- Lead modernization initiatives spanning cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments to support advanced analytics, AI workloads, and scalable digital platforms.
- Collaborate with data architects and engineers to ensure data platforms are highly available, resilient, governed, and optimized for performance and cost-efficiency.
- Ensure technology decisions comply with regulatory requirements related to data governance, security, privacy, and data residency.
- Drive the evolution of enterprise infrastructure to meet scalability, performance, AI compute, storage modernization, network reliability, and cybersecurity needs.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of critical platforms, including virtualization, container platforms (e.g., OpenShift/Kubernetes), cloud services, storage, and enterprise databases.
- Guide the selection and implementation of infrastructure and cloud technologies that support AI acceleration, distributed computing, and modern data workloads.
- Develop strategies for capacity planning, business continuity, and disaster recovery for essential platforms.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to translate business objectives into scalable, future-proof technology architectures.
- Lead cross-functional architecture reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects, engineers, and project teams.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation such as roadmaps, reference architectures, standards, and guidelines.

- Expertise in at least two of the following domains:
- Enterprise data platforms, data engineering, analytics platforms
- AI/ML platforms, model lifecycle technologies, MLOps
- Integration platforms (API Gateway, Enterprise Message Bus, Event Driven Architecture)
- Security, identity, zero trust architecture, cryptography, perimeter defense, DevSecOps, container security
- Cloud architecture (Azure, OCI, AWS)
- Container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Compute, storage, networking, security, and virtualization technologies
- Familiarity with infrastructure and platform solutions such as AIX, RHEL, Oracle Database, Dell EMC Storage, Pure Storage, Data Domain, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint.
- Experience with DevOps, platform engineering, and observability tools.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Strong understanding of security architecture, cloud governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale platform, data, or infrastructure transformation initiatives.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and cross-functional leadership skills.
