AWS Platform Operations Coordinator

The AWS Platform Operations Coordinator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Lahore. This role focuses on coordinating daily AWS platform operations by monitoring system performance, tracking incidents, and ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with DevOps and engineering teams. The coordinator supports deployment schedules, maintains operational documentation, assists with capacity planning, and helps enforce security and compliance standards across AWS environments. The position also involves organizing operational workflows, facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders, documenting service requests, and contributing to continuous improvements in platform reliability and customer experience. Additionally, the role includes basic administrative and customer support tasks related to AWS services, such as organizing reports, maintaining ticketing records, and following up on platform-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily AWS platform operations, including system performance monitoring and incident tracking.
- Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of platform issues.
- Support deployment schedules and assist with capacity planning activities.
- Maintain and update operational documentation and workflows.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Document service requests and manage ticketing or tracking systems.
- Assist in enforcing security and compliance standards across AWS environments.
- Perform administrative tasks such as organizing reports and handling customer inquiries related to AWS services.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing platform reliability and user experience.

Required Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret metrics, identify patterns, and support decision-making related to AWS platform operations.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with technical teams, stakeholders, and customers.
- Experience or aptitude in operations management, including workflow coordination, incident tracking, and process optimization.
- Customer service skills to manage platform-related inquiries and ensure a positive user experience.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks such as maintaining documentation, organizing reports, and managing ticketing systems.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud computing concepts; prior experience in cloud or IT operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work on-site in Lahore, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively within cross-functional technical teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
