Pharmacy Salesman/ Pharmacy Assistant

Ayaan Pharmacy is seeking a diligent Pharmacy Salesman/ Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This role focuses on supporting daily pharmacy operations by assisting customers, managing prescriptions, and ensuring the smooth and accurate handling of pharmaceutical products. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years of experience in a pharmacy or medical store, demonstrating reliability, honesty, and commitment to high standards of customer service. This position does not involve team management but requires strong individual accountability in maintaining cleanliness, organizing medicines correctly, and professionally interacting with customers at all times.

In this role, the Pharmacy Salesman/ Assistant acts as the frontline representative of Ayaan Pharmacy, responsible for delivering excellent customer interactions and assisting with operational tasks including point of sale processing and pharmacy management system usage. The candidate will handle prescription processing carefully and support sales efforts through effective communication and sales techniques. Punctuality and a responsible attitude toward daily duties will contribute significantly to the efficient operation of the pharmacy and the satisfaction of its customers.
Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers promptly and professionally, providing excellent service throughout their visit.
Process prescriptions accurately, ensuring compliance with pharmacy policies and legal requirements.
Manage inventory by organizing medicines neatly, checking expiry dates, and maintaining stock cleanliness and order.
Operate point of sale systems efficiently to handle transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
Use the pharmacy management system to update stock information and support administrative tasks.
Provide knowledgeable responses about pharmaceuticals and advise customers on over-the-counter products within the scope of the role.
Maintain a clean and safe environment in the pharmacy, following hygiene standards and protocols.
Support daily pharmacy functions with dedication, including timely opening and closing procedures and cash handling.
Ensure proper storage and handling of medications to preserve quality and safety.
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers, addressing queries and concerns with patience and professionalism.
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to support operational goals without direct management responsibility.
Demonstrate honesty, reliability, and a responsible work ethic consistently in all tasks.
Assist with restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to optimize customer accessibility.
