The candidate must have a thorough understanding of IP camera networking and LAN environments, enable smooth video data recording with DVR systems, and provide end-user support related to remote camera access. Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain CCTV cameras including IP cameras and analog models across various campus locations.
Set up and manage Digital Video Recorder (DVR) and Network Video Recorder (NVR) systems ensuring proper recording and playback functions.
Perform network configuration related to CCTV systems including IP address assignment, subnetting, and VLAN setup for seamless video transmission.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to video surveillance systems promptly to minimize downtime.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to keep CCTV systems operational and compliant with security standards.
Configure remote access for authorized personnel to view live camera feeds and recorded footage securely from off-site.
Collaborate with security personnel to assess surveillance coverage needs and recommend appropriate upgrades or system expansions.
Maintain accurate documentation of all CCTV installations, configurations, service requests, and repairs.
Assist in training end-users and security staff on the proper usage and monitoring of video surveillance equipment.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in CCTV and networking to continually enhance system performance.
