Back End Developer

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to building and scaling reliable backend systems. The ideal candidate will focus on developing APIs, microservices, and data-intensive services that support a growing mid-size engineering organization. Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
- Build and maintain microservices-based architectures.
- Develop scalable RESTful and event-driven APIs.
- Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and OpenSearch.
- Design efficient data models and optimize database performance.
- Implement real-time and event-driven systems using MQTT.
- Ensure backend systems are secure, scalable, and reliable.
- Collaborate effectively with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product teams.
- Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code to maintain high standards of software quality.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Node.js.
- Expertise in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience building services using NestJS or similar Node.js frameworks.
- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with DynamoDB, OpenSearch, or comparable technologies.
- Understanding of microservices architecture, messaging systems, and distributed systems.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mid-size company environment.
