Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI to support scalable backend services.
- Design efficient database schemas, write optimized queries, and enhance PostgreSQL performance.
- Manage database interactions using SQLAlchemy and handle migrations with Alembic.
- Implement asynchronous processing, including background jobs and scheduled tasks, to improve system responsiveness.
- Utilize Redis for caching, queue management, and real-time communication needs.
- Develop and maintain WebSocket connections to support real-time features.
- Ensure robust authentication, authorization, data validation, and overall API security.
- Integrate third-party APIs and cloud storage solutions to extend platform capabilities.
- Write automated tests, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve application reliability and performance.
- Collaborate closely with frontend and mobile development teams to ensure seamless API integration.
- Participate in code reviews and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in backend development.
- Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using FastAPI.
- Solid understanding of REST API design, HTTP protocols, and asynchronous programming concepts.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases, SQLAlchemy ORM, and Alembic for migrations.
- Practical knowledge of Redis for caching and background task processing.
- Familiarity with JWT-based authentication and role-based access control mechanisms.
- Proficient with version control using Git, containerization with Docker, and Linux-based environments.
- Experience with testing frameworks such as pytest and API integration testing.
- Excellent debugging, problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience with ARQ task queue and WebSocket implementations.
