Backend Developer – AI Vibe Coder | Next.js, NestJS & Laravel

Concept Beans is looking for a motivated and technically curious Backend Developer or AI-Powered Full-Stack Developer to join their team full-time in Lahore. This role is well-suited for fresh graduates or professionals with up to two years of experience who are passionate about solving complex problems and building modern applications. The position focuses on leveraging AI-assisted development tools like Cursor, Claude Code, OpenAI Codex, and GitHub Copilot to improve coding efficiency and quality. Candidates should have a solid understanding of code functionality and be able to independently verify AI-generated solutions. The preferred technology stack includes Next.js and React for frontend development, with Laravel and NestJS used strictly for backend APIs and business logic. This is an onsite role that encourages innovation and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop scalable and secure REST APIs using Laravel and NestJS, including backend services, authentication systems, and business logic.
- Manage databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, and integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and external services.
- Build efficient, maintainable, and well-structured applications while debugging and resolving complex technical issues.
- Collaborate on frontend development using Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript to ensure seamless integration with backend services.
- Implement server-side rendering, routing, API integration, and modern application architecture using component-based design rather than traditional PHP templates.
- Utilize AI coding assistants to accelerate development by crafting effective prompts, reviewing, debugging, refactoring, and optimizing AI-assisted code.
- Experiment with AI APIs, large language model integrations, and automation workflows, while independently verifying code correctness, security, and performance.
- Translate ideas and requirements into functional technical solutions, research new technologies, identify bugs and bottlenecks, and take full ownership of assigned features from development through deployment.

Required Qualifications

- Working knowledge of Next.js and React.
- Basic to intermediate experience with Laravel for API development.
- Familiarity with NestJS and Node.js.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, and SQL.
- Understanding of REST APIs, authentication mechanisms, and database relationships.
- Experience with Git and GitHub version control.
- Practical experience using AI coding tools along with strong debugging and logical reasoning skills.
- Ability and willingness to learn new frameworks and technologies independently.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fresh graduates and self-taught developers with strong portfolios, personal projects, or hackathon experience are encouraged to apply.
