Backend Developer - .NET

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Backend Developer (.NET) to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and SQL Server. This role focuses on building secure, scalable, maintainable, and high-performing backend applications. You will collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members to design, develop, integrate, test, and optimize backend services and APIs, ensuring seamless functionality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
- Build clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable business logic.
- Work with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core for database development and data access.
- Implement authentication, authorization, validation, exception handling, and secure API practices.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Develop and maintain background processes and scheduled jobs.
- Analyze and optimize API and database performance.
- Write unit and automated tests to ensure application quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews and adhere to established coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers to support API integration and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Debug and resolve application and production issues.
- Contribute to technical discussions, architecture decisions, and continuous improvement of development processes.

Required Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET, and ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), SOLID principles, and Dependency Injection.
- Proficient knowledge of SQL Server, relational databases, and database design.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of HTTP, JSON, API security, and API design principles.
- Familiarity with JWT authentication and role-based access control (RBAC).
- Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
