Backend Developer (Node js.)

Cloud Next 360 is seeking a talented Backend Developer with strong expertise in Node.js to join their team in Lahore. This full-time, on-site role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend systems that are reliable, secure, and scalable. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in API development, database management, and building efficient backend applications. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, based at the NFC Housing Society location.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend services and applications using Node.js.
- Build, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs to support frontend and third-party integrations.
- Design and manage databases using MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and data security measures to protect sensitive information.
- Identify and resolve bugs, performance bottlenecks, and other technical challenges promptly.
- Collaborate closely with frontend developers and other team members to deliver seamless and reliable solutions.
- Participate actively in code reviews, testing, debugging, and deployment processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript programming.
- Hands-on experience with Express.js or similar backend frameworks.
- Solid understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and server-side architecture.
- Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git version control systems and debugging tools.
- Good grasp of asynchronous programming, promises, and error handling techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Knowledge of authentication methods including JWT and OAuth.
- Basic understanding of cloud services, containerization with Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Awareness of application security best practices and performance optimization strategies.

Compensation
The position offers a starting salary from Rs 55,000 per month.
