Job Description

This role is responsible for assisting in all transactions related to syndications, project finance, corporate advisory and debt capital market assist remedial accounts management and restructurings,. Key job responsibilities of this role include preparation of pitch boards, client presentations, sectorial/ industry analysis, carrying out financial analysis and development of credit memorandums etc.

a)       Provide support in preparation of financial models, sectoral research and analysis, financial analysis, preparing pitch-books and presentations etc. including support and assistance on remedial account management and debt capital market transactions

b)       Active involvement in all stages of deal and trade flow (including new/ existing/ restructuring transactions/ remedial account management). Tasks may include generation/ assistance in Investment Appraisals, Information and Credit Memorandums, coordinating legal documentation and presentations for mandated and restructuring deals, and any and all support requirements related to remedial account management and debt capital market transactions. Provide entries to the relevant department for settlement/ recovery of principal/ markup/ fee/ commission etc. in AL Habib System.

c)       Keep track of developments in regulatory regime and governmental initiatives that impact Syndications & DCM operating environment. Giving inputs regarding investment decisions based on industry/sector research reports.

d)       Perform all agency/trustee functions. Monitor the financial performance and other developments in the clients’ businesses. Timely performance of related tasks such as acquiring progress reports, insurances, recovery of installments, etc. Handling of all administrative issues relating to portfolio being maintained at Syndications & DCM.

e)       Being an effective and proactive team player, comfortable with multi-tasking and able to provide assistance in all areas pertaining to Syndications & DCM transactions

f)        Support the special tasks assigned to Senior Associate/ Unit Head as delegated by the Head of department.

g)       Prepare periodic MIS reports for various internal departments including Finance, RRD, Credit Risk, Risk Management and RAM etc. as well as prepare reports for internal consumption of Syndications & DCM.
