Sourcing Manager

In this role, the Sourcing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers of LCD panels, touch screens, electronic components, POS hardware, and kiosk systems, primarily focusing on suppliers from China. The manager will establish and maintain strong supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities, lead times, and contracts to achieve cost-effective and quality product procurement aligned with the company's needs. The position includes coordinating closely with logistics teams to ensure smooth shipment and timely delivery of sourced products. The Sourcing Manager will conduct market research to identify new sourcing opportunities, oversee supplier performance and quality, manage product sampling and customization processes, and maintain detailed sourcing documentation. The role requires managing supply chain risks and ensuring continuous product availability. Although this position does not involve managing a team, the candidate will play a critical role in supporting the companys supply chain and procurement strategy to enable growth and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities

• Identify and source suppliers for LCD panels, touch screens, electronic components, POS hardware, and self-service kiosk systems with a focus on quality and cost-efficiency.
• Build, maintain, and strengthen supplier relationships specifically with vendors based in China, using effective communication to align expectations and deliverables.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities (MOQs), lead times, payment terms, and contracts to secure favorable terms that support company objectives.
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure seamless shipping, customs clearance, and delivery of goods to meet production schedules.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to identify emerging sourcing opportunities, alternative suppliers, and industry trends that could enhance product quality or reduce costs.
• Monitor supplier performance by evaluating quality standards, delivery timelines, and responsiveness; implement corrective actions when necessary to maintain supplier reliability and product consistency.
• Manage product sampling processes and oversee product customization and development in collaboration with factories to meet technical specifications and design requirements.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date sourcing records, cost analyses, pricing sheets, and procurement documentation to ensure transparency and support decision-making.
• Analyze and mitigate supply chain risks including supplier capacity constraints, geopolitical issues, and compliance with international regulations.
• Ensure continuous product availability by forecasting procurement needs and managing supplier lead times effectively.
• Utilize strong Excel and reporting skills to generate detailed procurement reports, supplier scorecards, and cost-saving analyses.
• Stay current with relevant certifications and compliance standards such as CE, FCC, and RoHS to guarantee sourced products adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with other departments including product development and quality assurance to align sourcing strategies with product innovation and quality goals.
• Apply knowledge of Incoterms and international shipping procedures to manage import processes efficiently and reduce shipping-related risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in sourcing processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve supplier performance metrics.
