Key Responsibilities

- Craft exceptional beverages: Prepare perfect espresso shots, steam milk to velvety perfection, and create specialty drinks that delight our guests and keep them coming back.
- Maintain quality and consistency: Ensure every cup meets the Melbrew standard throughout each service, upholding our reputation for excellence.
- Mentor and lead: Guide and inspire junior baristas by sharing your expertise in brewing techniques, equipment handling, and café etiquette.
- Innovate creatively: Contribute fresh ideas to seasonal menus, new recipes, and limited-time offerings to keep the menu exciting and relevant.
- Manage operations: Oversee inventory control, equipment maintenance, and hygiene standards to ensure the bar runs efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate effectively: Work closely with the café team and management to deliver smooth shifts and exceptional customer experiences.

Required Qualifications

- A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a barista, preferably within a specialty or third-wave coffee environment.
- Deep knowledge of coffee varieties, including specialty and single-origin beans, as well as proficiency in latte art.
- Strong understanding of espresso-based drinks and brewing methods, including distinctions between ristretto, lungo, and filter coffee.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, maintaining composure and quality during busy periods.
- A genuine passion for coffee and pride in delivering excellent service with every cup and interaction.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits

- Proficiency in English is preferred to facilitate clear communication within the team and with customers.
- This is a full-time, in-person position based at our branch located at Shell Oasis Petrol Pump, M9 Motorway.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from Rs50,000 to Rs60,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
