Accountant

Barlas Sale Service is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant with at least 2 years of experience to join our finance team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial records, ensuring accurate accounting practices, enhancing internal controls, and preparing detailed account reconciliations. This role involves overseeing a team of 3 persons, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and precise financial reporting. The Accountant will collaborate closely with other departments to maintain compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong expertise in general ledger accounting and a solid understanding of internal controls and financial reconciliation processes. The candidate should be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel to manage financial data and produce comprehensive reports. The Accountant is responsible for monitoring financial transactions, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the implementation of corrective actions to maintain the integrity of the companys accounts. This role demands critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to lead a small team effectively within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate financial records including general ledger and account reconciliations.
Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
Supervise and lead a team of 3 accounting personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and summaries to support management decision-making.
Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely financial reporting.
Analyze financial data to identify variances, discrepancies, and trends, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report financial data efficiently.
Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information and resolve accounting issues.
Support audits by preparing documentation and facilitating communication with auditors.
