Perform Inventory related Accounting & Finance job at the company’s production house in Islamabad using QuickBooks, following defined processes/instructions.
Job description includes but are not limited to
- Oversee inventory and supply chain in system according to production requirements thereby following company guidelines.
- Perform critical inventory tasks to ensure the correct amount of items and quantities are in stock.
- Maintain updated and accurate records of inventory in system, including transfers, inventory assemblies and cycle counts.
- Review documentation and process inventory movements in the form of Raw Matreial , Work in Process and Finished Goods and to search for discrepancies; troubleshoot quantity discrepancies between stock and records.
- Review operations schedules and production requirements to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Make purchase orders; collect and analyze data to determine appropriate order quantities; process orders for shipment.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing operational procedures in order to maximize efficiency and cut operations costs.
- Conduct and supervise periodic store audits to ensure processes' compliance.
- Prepare, generate, and file financial inventory reports; review reports and share these with management as per set frequency/requirement.
- Nurture positive relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and provide best possible service.
Requirements
- A minimum of Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or relevant field (preferably ACCA/ICMA/CA Inter) with about 5 years’ experience in a similar role
- Sound knowledge on Inventory handling in dedicated software/module (QuickBooks /Peachtree/ERPs).
- Outstanding analytical and time management skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
