KEY-ROLES

• Plan, manage and execute landscape of farm house according to theme of Agri-Tourism Park.

• Plan, manage and execute and cultivation of conventional, high-margin and high-yield crops,    vegetables and fruit plants;

• Prepare cultivation calendars, budgets, execution plans and reports;

• Protect and maintain building, machinery and equipment;

 • Manage, supervise and train staff and labour.

KEY-RESPONSIBILITIES

1.      In collaboration with the head office/owner, make contributions to the development and finalization of the annual business plan

2.       In collaboration with the head office/owner, develop an annual farm plan with budget, cash flows, crop plan and execution roadmap, to implement the business plan

3.      In co-ordination with head office/owner, implement the annual business plan and the farm plan; Arrange regular diagnostic tests for soil and water quality; analyze their findings in consultation with experts, devise and carry out appropriate remedies

4.       Ensure that at all times adequate water supply and channels (including bores, motors and pumps) are fully functional to meet the irrigation needs of the crops, vegetables, flowers and/or plants

5.      Preparation of cultivation calendars, budgets, execution plans and checklists after scientific investigations and understanding of land and weather conditions and sowing/harvesting seasons for different varieties of crops, vegetables, flowers and/or plants

6.      Timely sowing of crops, vegetables, flowers and/or ornamental plants including arrangement of inputs such as labour, seeds, fertilizer, sowing, watering, pesticides and weedicides; Vigilantly looking after healthy growth of crops, vegetables, and fruit plants including supply of water and nutrients, fertilizer application, pest control, weed control, disease management, proactive response to adverse weather conditions

7.      Efficiently execute and coordinate harvesting, grading, sorting and storing of the agricultural produce; Effective coordination with buyers for transportation and delivery of the agricultural produce

8.      Ensure that at all times all buildings, equipment, assets of the farm are safe, secure and in good condition; Organize work plans for labour and staff, define and assign tasks, prepare schedules, and supervise execution of the day-to-day activities, to ensure daily maximum utilization of resources to accomplish production goals

9.      Training, coaching and guidance of staff and labour to ensure that they work as a team to achieve production targets and meet guidelines, standards, and SOPs of the farm;

10.  Maintain up-to-date files and registers, to record information, activities, expense, goods, activities, supplies, produce, equipment, and assets; Regularly communicate with other team members of the farm and head office to exchange information and make informed timely decisions about farm activities; Overall onsite execution, coordination and supervision of all farm activities

 

Note: Additional activities should be assigned time to time related to farm and livestock
