This position centers on API Integration within Digital Banking and Banking Transformation initiatives, requiring a strong combination of technical skills and banking domain knowledge to design and implement enterprise-wide API solutions that integrate Core Banking, Digital Channels, Payment Systems, and Fintech ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as a techno-functional consultant on Digital Banking and API transformation projects by translating business needs into scalable API and integration solutions.
- Work closely with architects, product owners, and development teams to define integration strategies and design API specifications, service contracts, and workflows.
- Collaborate with Core Banking, Digital and Mobile Banking, CRM, Payment Systems, and external ecosystems to ensure smooth integration.
- Oversee the entire API lifecycle including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support.
- Identify integration opportunities and recommend architecture patterns aligned with Open Banking standards and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitate client workshops, gather requirements, provide solution walkthroughs, and lead business demonstrations.
- Manage integration testing phases such as API integration testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and production deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration and production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Review technical designs, integration specifications, and operational readiness documentation to ensure compliance with security, governance, and performance standards.

Required Qualifications
- 4 to 8 years of experience in API integration, Digital Banking, or Banking Transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in API design and development, including REST APIs, SOAP, GraphQL, and event-driven integrations.
- Experience with API Gateway solutions, API management lifecycle, developer portals, and API security frameworks.
- Knowledge of Open Banking standards, integration platforms, enterprise service bus (ESB), and messaging systems.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture, containerization technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), and DevOps practices including CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and tools like Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Jira, and Confluence.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, digital banking ecosystems, and business process mapping.
- Ability to analyze and document business requirements, define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience with Open Banking and Fintech integrations, API monetization, and Banking-as-a-Service models.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and client-facing consulting skills.
- Experience working in Agile and Scrum environments, coordinating across multiple vendors and stakeholders.
