Senior Design Engineer (RF)

In this leadership position, the Senior Design Engineer will manage a team of five engineers, coordinating project activities to meet rigorous technical and schedule requirements. The role demands proficiency in communication and technical documentation, with responsibilities spanning configuration management and collaboration across cross-functional teams. The successful applicant will contribute to advancing Bcubes wireless communication products by leveraging expertise in RF/microwave circuits and System Level Integration. Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and testing of RF and microwave circuits and subsystems for wireless communication products.
Perform signal integrity analysis and spectrum analysis to optimize circuit performance and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
Utilize EDA tools such as ADS and HFSS for circuit simulation, modeling, and verification.
Conduct electromagnetic field simulations using 3D EM simulators including HFSS and CST Microwave Studio to validate and enhance designs.
Apply antenna design principles and integrate RF circuits at the system level to achieve seamless wireless communication functionality.
Manage and mentor a team of five engineers, overseeing project timelines, resource allocation, and technical guidance.
Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including design specifications, testing procedures, and product manuals.
Utilize SolidWorks and other 3D CAD tools to support mechanical and electrical design integration for manufacturability.
Implement configuration management and version control to track design revisions and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain to optimize product development cycles.
Evaluate and apply industry best practices and emerging technologies in RF/microwave design to enhance product innovation.
Provide troubleshooting expertise and solutions for RF testing and measurement processes during prototype development and production phases.
Ensure designs meet regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements pertinent to communication systems.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on design efficiency, cost reduction, and product reliability.
Stay current with advancements in wireless communication systems and RF engineering methodologies through ongoing professional development.
