We are hiring HR Officer for our Software House Beacon Innovation
The HR Officer works under the functional guidance of the team lead to support the following activities:-
- Develop an understanding of the current and future HR needs of the organization
- Support the recruitment processes, conduct performance reviews and introduce team-building activities
- Assist in the upgrading of organization HR processes and its documentation
Tasks
The HR Officer performs the following tasks:
- Preparing job descriptions, advertising positions, scheduling of interviews, developing contracts and managing the entire employment process
- Orientating new employees and training existing employees
- Monitoring employee performance and conduct periodic reviews
- Mentors staff and promotes continuous learning and capacity development
- Providing counseling on HR policies and procedures
- Communicating with staff about issues affecting their performance
- Ensuring accurate and proper record-keeping of employee information in electronic format.
- Identifying the need to modify HR policies, procedures and tools and provides input into new approaches, systems and procedures to maintain and improve service delivery
- Introducing team-building measures that ensure employee engagement within the organisation
- Presenting the organisation in internal and external meetings and events
