Applicant will be responsible for contributing to the daily production of websites, bug fixes and creation of new features. This position will work closely with other creative staff in developing final HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code for all front-end. Back-end development using PHP and MySQL a plus but not required. The position reports to the Production Manager.
Position Responsibilities:
- Develop standards compliant front-end code (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) based on a static design file.
- Participate in concept and analysis of new web site features with the creative team
- Work with producers, editors, designers, and other developers to build and implement projects
- Complete development projects as assigned by the Production Manager or creative lead
- Meet development objectives and deadlines

Required Skills:
- 2+ years professional experience in front-end development
- Demonstrated proficiency in graphics production and image optimization for the web using Photoshop, Fireworks, or your graphics application of choice
- Experience working with standards-based design and markup
- Ability to multitask, work well under pressure, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work efficiently in a multi-user development environment
- Experience developing in a server-side scripting/programming languages (PHP, Javascript/ES6) a plus.
Knowledge of MYSQL & Javascript/ES6 a plus
Familiarity with CSS frameworks and version control is required.
