Service Technician and Installer

Bestfix is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician and Installer to join our service department. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various products to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. You will work directly with customers to diagnose issues, provide effective solutions, and perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime. This position requires a hands-on professional with strong technical skills and a commitment to providing excellent service. As a Service Technician and Installer at Bestfix, you will collaborate closely with the service team, reporting to a manager. Your expertise in equipment installation and troubleshooting will be critical to delivering timely and reliable support to our clients. You will help maintain service quality by adhering to company standards and documentation practices while continuously improving your technical abilities through ongoing training and practical experience.

Responsibilities

Install, test, and configure equipment according to company specifications and customer requirements.
Perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, or operational issues with equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates efficiently and to reduce the likelihood of future breakdowns.
Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding the status of equipment and required repairs or upgrades.
Document all service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance performed, in a timely and accurate manner.
Follow safety procedures and comply with legal and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other service personnel and departments to optimize service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Stay up-to-date with new technologies, tools, and industry best practices to continually enhance service quality.
Provide training or guidance to customers on proper equipment use and maintenance when necessary.
Manage service calls efficiently to meet scheduled appointments and minimize customer downtime.
