B&H Surgical Instruments is seeking a responsible and organized Inventory Controller to oversee and manage stock operations, maintain precise inventory records, and support efficient warehouse activities. This role requires an individual with strong analytical skills and practical experience utilizing ERP and inventory management systems. The successful candidate will ensure smooth coordination between purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to maintain optimal stock levels and promote seamless inventory flow. Although this role does not involve managing a team, it demands a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving ability to maintain accurate stock control and reduce losses.
Responsibilities
The Inventory Controller monitors and manages inventory levels for raw materials and finished products, ensuring availability while minimizing excess stock. This position involves conducting regular stock checks, audits, and inventory reconciliations to maintain accuracy and compliance. The controller coordinates purchase orders and communicates effectively with suppliers to manage stock requirements. They ensure proper storage, handling, and organization of all inventory to prevent damage or losses, and prepare timely inventory reports and updates for management review. Additionally, they implement and continuously improve inventory control procedures and warehouse practices to enhance operational efficiency. Maintaining accurate documentation and inventory records in ERP systems such as Odoo is a core function of this role, requiring proficiency in relevant software. The Inventory Controller also collaborates closely with cross-functional teams including production and purchasing to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted flow of materials.
