BI Developer

Splash Business Intelligence Private Limited is seeking a motivated Junior Business Intelligence Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports, primarily using Power BI, while working closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Write optimized SQL queries, stored procedures, and data extraction logic to support reporting needs.
- Develop data models and visualizations tailored to business requirements.
- Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and optimal report performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to reporting and dashboards.
- Support ongoing enhancements and maintenance of BI solutions.
- Work closely with ETL and Data Engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI for dashboard and report development.
- Good experience writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
- Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, and analytical reports.
- Knowledge of database concepts including joins, views, aggregations, and query optimization.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits:
- Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau is advantageous.
- Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Python or scripting languages is beneficial.
