Information Technology Executive
This IT Specialist will serve as the primary IT support and technician of the Company. Will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the functionality of the IT infrastructure across the two sites i.e., Head Office at Islamabad and Plant Site at Hattar.
Core duties
• Ensure end-users receive swift and appropriate problem resolution, system/data access, and has optimal systems to perform organizational functions.
• Resolve IT productivity, security and effectiveness issues in an office and factory environment.
• Develop complex spreadsheets and basic databases professionally to assist end users and support department functions across the company.
• Installation and upkeep of the IT infrastructure across the two sites of the Company.
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, software and IT infrastructure.
• Configure and manage computer systems: Installing, Moving, Adding, Changing and Upgrading hardware and software products.
• Perform maintenance and upgradation tasks on PCs, laptops, network and peripheral equipment.
• Other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate must demonstrate the following.
• Solid IT support experience or equivalent.
• Associate Degree in Computer related field and/or related technical certification.
• High level proficiency in MS Office Products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Access and Visio. Experience with Developer tools in Word, Excel and Access. Proficiency in developing Excel spreadsheets and Access databases to assist end user.
• Ability to identify and develop Marcos and Scripts to automate repeatable activities.
• A flexible approach to completing work-related tasks and a strong work ethic.
• Function effectively as an individual contributor with self-initiative and minimal supervision.
• Clear communication on technical topics.
• Effective and respectful engagement with all employees and vendors.
• Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and proficiently resolves problems.
• High quality customer service skills with internal customers and external vendors.
• Capacity and track record of maintaining secrecy and protecting the confidentiality of personal and corporate information, data and communications.
• Good knowledge of concepts, principles, terminology, and practices of IT security
Additional desirable skills
Skills, expertise and experience in the following areas would be a plus.
• Development of company-wide intranet.
• Design, development, and maintenance of web applications.
• Improved utilisation of Information Technology in the work of the company.
• Improving the quality of Information Technology applications in the work of the company.
