Bidder (Upwork)

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Upwork Bidder to join our team based in Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Upwork bidding and proposal writing, with a strong ability to identify relevant projects, understand client needs, and craft tailored proposals specifically for software and web development services. This role requires thorough research of potential clients, evaluation of job opportunities, and the creation of compelling proposals that enhance the likelihood of client engagement and positive responses.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and search for relevant projects on Upwork aligned with the company’s service offerings.
- Review job postings carefully to assess their suitability before submitting proposals.
- Analyze project requirements to ensure a clear understanding prior to proposal submission.
- Write and submit customized, high-quality proposals that address client needs effectively.
- Develop strong and relevant proposal introductions based on client specifications.
- Conduct research on client profiles, including their hiring history and previous projects.
- Select appropriate portfolio samples tailored to each proposal.
- Focus on quality projects that have a strong potential for client response and engagement.
- Maintain consistent daily bidding activity in line with assigned targets.
- Track submitted proposals, Connects usage, client responses, and overall bidding performance.
- Monitor response and conversion rates, refining bidding strategies to improve outcomes.
- Stay informed about current trends and demands in software development, web development, AI, mobile applications, DevOps, and business process automation.
- Adhere to company bidding guidelines and meet daily performance targets.
- Collaborate with technical and business development teams to obtain additional project information when necessary.

Required Qualifications

- 1 to 2 years of proven experience in Upwork bidding, particularly for software or web development projects.
- Strong written English and communication skills, with excellent proposal-writing capabilities.
- Ability to comprehend and analyze client requirements accurately.
- Familiarity with WordPress, custom web and software development, API integration, mobile application development, AI-powered web applications, DevOps, and business process automation.
- Good understanding of Upwork platform dynamics, including job postings, client profiles, and hiring histories.
- Strong research and analytical skills to identify the best project opportunities.
- Ability to write personalized and unique proposals rather than generic or copy-paste bids.
- High attention to detail and consistency in daily bidding activities.
- Ability to work towards and achieve daily bidding and performance targets.
- Experience working with international clients is considered an advantage.
