Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our marketing team as a Product Manager.

  • This exciting position will work cross-functionally to ensure the successful launch of new and innovative diagnostic products.
  • This role will execute product line strategies in line with the strategic marketing plan to meet the yearly revenue and profitability goals.
  • The ideal candidate will be a true product evangelist that has the vision and proven capability to create and enter new markets.
  • S/he will inspire passion, excitement and results in others; have the confidence and credibility to speak at client, sales and industry conferences and aspire to become a product thought leader.
  • This individual must be able to clearly discuss and communicate the clinical and economic value of our products to internal stakeholders, customers, prospects and partners.
  • In addition to those skills, experiences and attributes, we’re looking for someone that has experience as a liaison between office and field team members to ensure information is shared frequently and consistently.
  • This individual will operate as a representative of the organization when interacting with customers, key opinion leaders and study investigators and should approach those meetings with an understanding of the impact on larger business objectives 
  • Identify and articulate customer and market needs through business plans, market requirements documentation and product roadmaps.
  • Gather voice-of-the-customer insights and business intelligence; share with internal teams.
  • Be able to configure prices and specifications for an array of medical equipment.
  • Work closely with customers and KOLs to solicit feedback on products and gather requirements for new features or products; leveraging customer meetings, conferences and advisory boards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to drive successful product development activities. Provide input into product development documentation including customer requirements documents, validation plans and instructions for use.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive commercialization plan for new and existing products. Establish product revenue goals and corresponding strategic and tactical plans to ensure that revenue goals are met or exceeded.
  • Monitor competitive landscape; anticipate competitive response to changing market dynamics and proactively develop strategies to combat activity.

Skills and Experience: 

  • BS/BA degree in business, biology, engineering or relevant clinical discipline; MBA preferred.
  • Experience should include 2-4 years’ product management in a medical device/diagnostic industry.
  • Strong commercial instincts demonstrated through successful marketing initiatives with measurable impact.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills; close attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
