Leads the preventive maintenance and troubleshooting of YORK Roof Top Units and Air-Cooled Condensing Units, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with manufacturer standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quarterly preventive maintenance on four Roof Top Units and one Indoor & Condensing Unit, including inspections, adjustments, and component replacements as per the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Troubleshoot malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement fixes using facility-provided parts or locally sourced parts if unavailable.
- Ensure compliance with AHRI Standard 700-2015 for refrigerants, UL standards for electrical equipment, and NFPA guidelines for fire safety.
- Use appropriate tools, testing equipment, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to maintain safe operations.
- Provide technical oversight during maintenance visits and emergency responses (within 24 hours).
- Submit 5-10 customer references of similar scope of work along with contact details.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC system maintenance, with expertise in YORK units.
- Certification in HVAC maintenance or refrigeration (e.g., EPA 608 or equivalent).
- Proficiency in English.
- Familiarity with manufacturer technical manuals and safety standards (OSHA, SHEM).
- Valid occupational health and safety training certification.
