Blockmob Labs is seeking a highly skilled and imaginative AI Video Editor & Creative Storyboarder to join our innovative team. This role focuses on creating short-form, high-impact visual content ranging from 30 to 120 seconds for various brand campaigns and digital marketing efforts. The ideal candidate combines strong storytelling abilities with mastery of motion design and proficiency in AI-powered video production tools to produce captivating videos that enhance engagement and drive conversions. Without team management responsibilities, this position offers the opportunity to independently lead end-to-end video projects from concept through final delivery.
The successful candidate will excel in crafting compelling visual narratives by transforming scripts and briefs into dynamic storyboards and polished video compositions. Expertise with industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, alongside emerging AI technologies like Runway and Midjourney, is essential. The role requires collaboration with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure creative alignment and optimization of video content for diverse platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and digital landing pages. Continuous exploration of new creative trends and AI tools will help drive innovation and quality improvement in all visual storytelling outputs.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, script, and develop detailed storyboards for brand videos, product showcases, and marketing campaigns.
- Edit and produce high-quality short-form videos, including advertisements, promotional clips, explainer videos, and product demos.
- Create motion graphics, animations, and visually rich compositions to enhance storytelling and viewer engagement.
- Leverage AI-powered editing tools to accelerate video production processes, ideation, visual generation, and voiceover integration.
- Transform static ideas, scripts, or creative briefs into dynamic and compelling visual narratives that resonate with target audiences.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure consistent creative direction and brand alignment.
- Optimize video content for various social media platforms and digital channels, considering format, pacing, and platform-specific requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of emerging video trends, new software capabilities, and AI tools to continuously improve production quality and workflow efficiency.
- Apply sound design principles, pacing techniques, and seamless transitions to deliver engaging and professional visual content.
- Independently manage the full post-production workflow, ensuring timely delivery of clean, modern, and premium video materials.
- Ensure all video projects meet high standards of visual aesthetics, detail, and quality while aligning with conversion and engagement goals.
