The Role:
We are seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to develop real-world product design with functional and appealing features that address our clients’ needs and allow us to scale as a business.
You will be involved in:
- Gathering and evaluating user requirements
- Designing graphic user interface elements and building navigation components
- Building clear functional UI mock-ups and prototypes
- Identifying troubleshooting UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Interface, optimal and interaction design
- Usability testing
- Working with Marketing and Creative teams to maintain existing style guide
- Analyzing and reporting user feedback, product functional requirements and interaction mode
Selection Criteria - please attach a cover letter addressing the following:
Required:
- BSc in Computer Science / Multimedia or similar, with at least 1 years’ commercial experience as a UI/UX Designer
- In-depth knowledge of CSS, HTML, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator)
- Proven graphic design skills – ability to design responsive graphic user interface elements and build navigation components for multiple platforms (phones, PC, tablets etc.)
- Strong communication and presentation skills, meticulous eye for detail, and ability to take on feedback from multiple stakeholders
- Creative ideas with a problem-solving mindset
- Ability to build and maintain style guides in consultation with Marketing & Creative teams
Desirable:
- Experience in establishing user groups and development of user personas
- Experience in using Agile methodologies (sprints, user stories, retrospective etc.)
- Branding compliance, and using analytics to underpin evidence-based design decisions
- Commercial experience in programming with JavaScript
- Animation skills
Other:
- Portfolio of professional design projects including work from web/mobile applications to be included in application
