The Claims Officer will assist with shipment claims for clients. The incumbent will review the claims submitted to ensure that they are valid and collects the necessary documents for claims assessment. The incumbent will help to settle all claims matters accurately and fairly based on the company’s guidelines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investigating, evaluating, and settling shipment claims
- Attend to claim investigations
- Coordinate with departments regarding shipment claims
- Attend to inquiries of policyholders, claimants, and intermediaries
- Communicate claims decisions clearly
- Ensuring that claims are not fraudulent
- Prepare reports related to claim administration.
