Boom Truck Driver

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Rawalpindi for a Boom Truck Crane/Winch Driver and Operator, assigned to a project in Saudi Arabia. The role involves operating heavy machinery to support lifting and transportation tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency throughout all operations. The candidate will be responsible for driving, loading, unloading, conducting equipment inspections, and maintaining compliance with safety standards. The position requires flexibility for rotating shifts and travel as part of the project demands.

Key Responsibilities
- Operate boom truck cranes and winches safely and efficiently during lifting, loading, and unloading activities.
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to ensure operational safety and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of materials and equipment as required by the project.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, inspections, and any incidents or maintenance activities.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Be available for rotating shifts and travel assignments as dictated by project schedules.

Required Qualifications
- Valid Heavy Transport Vehicle (HTV) license is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating boom truck cranes or winches in a similar capacity.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and operational procedures related to heavy vehicle and crane operation.
- Ability to perform routine equipment inspections and identify potential mechanical issues.
- Physically fit to handle the demands of the role, including lifting and working in various weather conditions.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts and travel as required by the project.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- Experience working on international projects, particularly in Saudi Arabia, is advantageous.
- Familiarity with project-based compensation structures and ability to adapt to different work environments.
- Competitive monthly salary ranging from PKR 150,000 to 200,000, with additional project compensation of SAR 1,500 to 1,600 per month.
