Keep tracking outstanding debts
Plan course of action to recover owed money
Locate and contact debtors
Update account status and database regularly
Comply with requirements when legal action is unavoidable
Handle customers' questions or complaints
Negotiate payoff deadlines and payment plans
Build trust with debtors
Identify gaps in the system and recommend solutions
Debt-recovery agents try to persuade late- or non-payers to repay the amounts they borrowed.
They might negotiate a lump-sum payment or a repayment plan.

Requirements:

Good knowledge of MS Office
Good negotiation and persuasion skills
Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
