• Prepare and analyze trends of financial performance of programs/ projects / regions / branches
  • Compare actual results with budgets/targets and generating analysis for management decision making
  • Develop contextualized benchmarks and compare actual results with these bench marks, e.g.:
    • borrower per staff
    • borrower per credit officer
    • Number and amount of disbursement per CO/Brach/Area/Region
    • Branch OSS, its trend and reasons for change
    • Branch wise profit & loss, trend and reasons of change
    • Portfolio at risk (PAR) trend with explanatory notes for underlying reasons for change
    • Program wise yield trend and underlying reasons of change

 

  • Review monthly reports from regions and highlight areas needing management attention
  • Coordinate with the program team to produce periodic reports that capture both social impact and financial data.
  • Consolidate monthly financial reports into network wide formats.
  • Develop reports for management use and prepare them on predefined frequency
  • Assisting program heads in ratio analysis, budgets, variance reports, branch wise OSS and other reports
  • Prepare donor reports required by funding agreements
  • Preparation of analyses & reports for stakeholders e.g. Microwatch, Mix Barometer and other survey reports
  • Cost analysis based on donor agreements and allocation of common/shared cost to different projects
  • Preparing Implementation Plans for Agreements with Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund (PPAF)
  • Work with operations and finance department in ensuring that relevant donor procurement and financial rules are followed
  • Undertake any other duties and projects as may be assigned from time to time

BRAC's micro finance program was launched in 2007 on a small scale in Punjab and the North West Frontier Province (NWFP). It is now operating with 88 branch offices, and has 45,011 women borrowers. BRAC considers education a powerful tool for combating discrimination's, illiteracy and poverty. BRAC started 20 pre-primary schools in 2009 in NWFP's Haripur district. The schools now have more than 600 students, about 61% of them girls. BRAC also initiated a health program in 2009, with services in Punjab's Sahiwal and Pakpattan districts and NWFP's Nowshera district.
