We are looking for an experienced and visionary Headmistress to lead our school, fostering academic excellence and effective management while nurturing a strong culture of teaching and learning. The ideal candidate will provide strategic direction, ensuring the school meets high standards aligned with the Cambridge curriculum. This leadership role requires a dynamic individual committed to creating a positive, inclusive, and student-centered environment that supports both staff and student development.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide strategic leadership and clear direction for the school’s academic and operational goals.
- Ensure the delivery of high academic standards in accordance with Cambridge curriculum requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and evaluate teaching and administrative staff to promote professional growth and excellence.
- Oversee curriculum implementation, lesson planning, student assessments, and monitor student progress.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that prioritizes student well-being and engagement.
- Develop and implement comprehensive academic and school improvement plans.
- Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with parents, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to school policies, procedures, and safeguarding standards.
- Manage day-to-day school operations, maintaining discipline and professionalism throughout the institution.
- Represent the school at academic and community events, upholding its reputation and values.

Required Qualifications

- Master’s degree in Education or a related field; M.Ed. or B.Ed. qualifications are preferred.
- A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the education sector, including significant leadership or management roles.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the Cambridge curriculum, assessment methods, and academic standards.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and make sound decisions.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering the development of students, teachers, and the wider school community.
