Key Responsibilities
- Foster a positive work environment and team spirit to meet financial and service targets. Plan branch activities with an emphasis on loan and deposit acquisition within the assigned budget.
- Achieve self-funding status by balancing loan and deposit portfolios, taking full accountability for the branch as a revenue center.
- Implement cost-control measures and promote frugality to align with the dynamics of the microfinance business.
- Act as a credit officer by arranging and approving loan applications.
- Oversee all operational and administrative functions of the branch, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
- Ensure the branch opens promptly at 9:00 AM and closes as per the designated schedule, organizing smooth opening and closing procedures with clear assignment of responsibilities.
- Manage branch workflow efficiently to maximize productivity, regularly assessing capacity needs and coordinating with the hub for resource requirements.
- Lead the collection and recovery processes to keep delinquencies and losses within targeted limits.
- Guarantee the efficient execution of financial and functional transactions while maintaining process integrity.
- Plan and manage cash flow to ensure optimal availability, avoiding excessive idle cash.
- Coordinate training programs to enhance the professional and leadership skills of branch staff.
- Conduct regular self-assessments and prepare the branch for internal, external, and regulatory audits, including those by the State Bank of Pakistan.
- Uphold the bank’s reputation by ensuring system integrity and accurate financial reconciliation across all branch functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field from a reputable institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role.
